Yuan Chen

Yuan Chen born  on 8th April  2008. There are no signs of CP except he has poor muscle tone. He has a history of temperatures of above 39C. He is tall, thin, pale, but very happy. His head is flat at the back and he has weak head control when his head is unsupported so he  has to sit with support behind him. He can move all his limbs and likes to roll over, his rolling is purposeful as he does it to get things. He reaches out to grab things and can hold toys and food, he also claps and waves his hands to music. He is unable to stand and doesn't want to stand or bear his own weight, when put in a walker, he does push himself along and he will bear his weight when he is supported.

He likes to transfers things from hand to hand and he makes some sounds and laughs alot. He is a very slow eater and is unable at present to hold his own spoon but he can hold his own food, ie  bread and bananas. He will eat solids when fed. He is responsive to his name and He looks around and appears to be taking things in. His smile is frequent and his eyes are bright. He tries to copy other children, e.g. blows raspberries and clap.
