Chris first went to JZ in 2002 for a short-term trip, he was overwhelmed by the needs of the children and knew that he would return. In 2005 / 06 upon completing his undergraduate studies he returned to commence a nine month placement with a sister organization. Upon completion of his nine month placement he joined COAT to help establish the shared vision of establishing a foster home in JZ. Between October 2006 and December 2006 Chris spent a number of weeks helping the on-site staff to get Eagles' Wings III (the first foster home) ready to received children. During August of 2008, he spent two weeks in JZ and was busy spending time with the children both in EW I,II and III as well as in the orphanage. He was also busying himself taking lots of photo's for this website. Chris has now married a Singaporean Chinese lady who also shares the same heart for serving the orphaned children of China. It is their dream to return to JZ or other parts of China to continue to serve in this manner. Until then Chris lives in Greenwich, London and is studying part-time at the University of Manchester. He is studying for a Masters in International Development with the view to using this study in a practical way in China.
