Another Change To Our Plans:

After much thought and discussion, we have decided to move Eagles' Wings III into the new orphanage. This allows the children in our care to continue to receive the therapy they need for cerebral palsy and other conditions. The Director has been generous in the contract we have with the orphanage.

COAT inc will continue to make "family groups" in the community and as many kids as possible will attend local schools. This is "deinstitutionalizing" our children, making them understand that they are no longer "orphans" but loved members of a family.

COAT inc owns two apartments and is leasing several more to fill up with children.

COAT inc is being given children from other orphanages.

The school that COAT birthed within the orphanage in 2002, will be handed to the orphanage to manage on March 1 2010 (we had no choice about this if we want to continue to care for the children our way).

COAT inc will open a new school near the apartments housing the children. It will be attended by our children who cannot go to local schools because of sickness or disability. Local children who are disabled will also be able to attend. We are looking at the possibility of bringing children from remote privately run orphanages into our care so that they can be given opportunities for education that they cannot get where they are at present. As many kids as possible will attend local schools.

You can sponsor any fraction of a child, worker or project... all amounts from a "mite" upwards are more than acceptable to the One Who told the story of the widow and the mite. He changes widows' mites into widows' mights.
